If you invite the bot, you want to know what to do now!? We show you below in detail how to setup the bot on your server and some other settings and features.
- Open our website (www.support-system.xyz)
- Login with Discord in the upper right corner
- After you did this choose the server, where you want to setup the bot
Setup instructions
You will see that, if you don't set up something it will be marked with 'It's really empty here...', so lets get started!
Bot settings
- Now you see the Bot settings. Here you can change your Prefix (?), the language the bot should use on your server and last but not least, the nickname from the bot.
- A little bit below you see a switch, where you are able to toggle the private messages (Premium feature)
General
- You click at the left-positioned scrollbar at 'General'.
- Here you see two settings. The Staff roles and the log channel.
- What are Staff roles? Staff roles or team roles are roles which have access to tickets, voice support and ticket management!
- So you choose the roles you want with the dropdown and add them with the add button
- What is the Log channel for? This is the channel in which the bot will send its logs. Logs are messages which contain information about closed tickets and other important events!
- So if you want to use this Log channel (not required, but usefull), you select a text channel with the dropdown and add it with the save button
Notice that it's not required to do all Setups! You only have to make the setups of the functions you want to use!
Ticket
- You click at the left-positioned scrollbar at 'Ticket'.
- Here you see three settings. The categories, the channel names and other ticket settings like transcripts.
- What are ticket categories for? All new ticket channels will be located in this one category!
- You choose a category with the dropdown and the save button.
- What is meant by channel names? This will be the name of the ticket channels, which get created! If it's set to 'tick', a example of a channel name would be 'tick-agentcru'.
- Use the textfield to choose a default name and the save button to... you know for what ^^
- Below you can find the automatical transcript premium feature (A transcript includes all messages from a ticket)
Report
- You click at the left-positioned scrollbar at 'Report'.
- Here you see just one little setting: The report or better the text channel, where the report messages get sent to.
Voice support
- You click at the left-positioned scrollbar at 'Voice Support'.
- Here you see 4 big settings, the waiting- and the finished channel, the voice support channels, the waiting channel names and the notifications/logs.
- Let's start with the waiting- and finished channel
- What are these channels for? The waiting channel is the channel all waiting users will be in. If a user joins this channel he is automatically added to the end of the queue. If a staff joins it he gets automatically moved in the first voice support channel!
The finished channel is the channel all users get moved to after you are finished talking to them. (You can use the !next command for this)
- Select each Channel and use the save button to save it.
- After this you choose the voice support channels.
- But what are these channels for? These are the channels in which you will talk to your users. You can only use the !next command if you are in one of these channels!
- Choose all your support channels by using the dropdown and the Add-Button.
- Now you can select the name of the waiting channel, but what is this feature for?
- Open waiting channel name: The bot will rename the previously set waiting channel to this name if at least one staff member is in one of the voice support channels!
- Close waiting channel name: The bot will rename the previously set waiting channel to this name if no staff members are in the voice support channels!
- Write the names you want in the text fiels and click the save button!
- At last we have the notification/log channel.
- Here you can disable or enable notifcations for voice support. You can setup the log channel and select if the staff gets mentioned or no.
Notice that you can change every setting everytime, but please save your changes before you close the page!
If you click at the remove button, you will logically remove the role/channel!
